Albacore Tuna with Peppers & Onions

1 lb. Albacore tuna steaks, cut into 1 inch cubes
2-3 thinly sliced bell peppers
1/2 - 1 cup sliced semi-hot or hot peppers (to taste)
1 large onion, cut in half and sliced
1 tbl ground chili powder
1 tsp ground paprika
Kosher Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Olive Oil
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until hot
- Add peppers and onions and sauté until softened
- Combine spices: chili powder, paprika, salt & pepper
- Place tuna cubes onto a plate and sprinkle with half the spice mixture
- Sprinkle remaining half spice mixture on the peppers and onions and cook about 1 minute more
- Add tuna cubes and cook until cooked to desired doneness
Serve with a green salad.
