Dorothy Merman's Caramel Pecan Cups

2 cups sugar
2 2/3 cubes butter
8 oz cream cheese
3 tsp vanilla
2 2/3 cup flour
1 1/3 cup chopped nuts
  • preheat oven to 300
  • cream first 4 ingredients
  • add flour & nuts
  • drop onto ungreased cookie sheet
  • bake for 30 minutes until light golden brown
