Casa Rosa Hot Wings
12 whole organic chicken wings
3 Tbl Olive Oil
4 Tbl Tabasco Chipotle Sauce
1 Tbl Sweet Paprika or Smoked Paprika
1/4-1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 425º
- Remove wing tips from each wing and discard, then cut each
wing at the joint
into two pieces and place into a sealable bag
- In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well
- Reserve 1 1/2 tbl hot sauce mixture to brush on wings before serving
- Add remaining mixture to the wings, press out air and let
marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature
- Place wings on a rack in a roasting pan and place in hot oven
- Turn after 20 minutes and continue cooking for 20 minutes more
- Remove from oven and transfer to a serving tray
- Brush with reserved hot sauce mixture
- Serve with traditional accompaniments such as celery sticks
and creamy dressing (Blue cheese, roquefort, ranch, etc.)
