Brittany's Chocolate Chip Cookies

4 oz. margarine (not spread) softened
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tbl vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz. chocolate chips

preheat oven to 350
cream together first 4 ingredients
add eggs & vanilla - mix well
add dry ingredients - mix well
add chocolate chips
drop by tsp onto ungreased cookie sheet
bake 11-13 minutes
