Corn Bread

1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 c Cornmeal -- yellow
3 ts Baking powder
3 md Eggs -- well beaten
1 c Milk
1 t Salt
1 t Sugar
1/4 c Cream
1/3 c Butter -- melted
- Preheat the oven to 400
- Butter an 8-1/2x11 inch baking pan.
- Sift the flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and baking powder into a large bowl and mix thoroughtly
- Add the eggs and milk.
- Add cream and melted butter.
- Pour into a buttered pan and bake for
20 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
