Green Chile Rice

1 cup rice
3/4 lb grated jack cheese
1 small can diced green chiles
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 jar dried beef
2 cups stock - beef, chicken or vegetable
  • Cook rice in broth. Do not drain.
  • Combine in a baking dish, cooked rice, sour cream, chiles, beef torn in pieces, and 1/2 lb grated cheese.
  • Top with remaining cheese.
  • Cover and bake at 325 - 350 for 35 minutes.
  • Broil for 5 minutes to brown cheese.
