Sautéed Cabbage & Pears

1 cabbage Shredded
6 Tablespoons butter
3 Pears
4 Shallots
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 cup chicken broth
2/3 cup dried sour Cherries
1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 Tablespoons minced parsely
Salt & Pepper to taste
- In large dutch oven, melt butter over med. heat,
- Add pears and shallots,ð sauté until soft
- Add garlic
Saute another 1 1/2 minutes, (don't brown)
- Add chicken broth, mixð
- Add cabbage cook turning often until Cabbage is cooked the way you like it.
