8-9 med. potato's
1/2 chopped onion
21 Slices of Cheddar cheese
1/2 cube of real Butter (Do not use margarine)
Salt Pepper
3 cups scalded milk
- Slice potato's into 2 quart baking dish. ðWhen about 1 to 2 inches deep add onion, pepper and a little salt and seven cheese slices over
potato's.ð
- Make another 2 inch layer and repeat seasonings except salt then cheese.ð
- Make a third layer ending with cheese.ð
- Pour milk over
top. ðDot with 1/2 cube butter.ð
- Bake at 350 to 375 degree oven for 2 hours turning potato's every 1/2 hour.
