Aunt Helen's Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup thick sour cream
3 eggs
1 teasp soda
6 cups pastry flour
1/8 teasp nutmeg
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add beaten eggs and sour cream.
  • Slowly add flour, soda and nutmeg.ð Mix well.
  • Roll and spread with sugar.
  • Cut out with flower cookie cutters.
  • Bake in hot oven 375 degrees. Makes 30 large flower shaped cookies.
