Grilled Baby Bok Choy

Contributed by: Melinda

Size varies significantly on Baby Bok Choy, but plan approximately 2 per person as a side dish.

I use my indoor grill for this, but you can do it outside as well.

4 Baby Bok Choy, rinsed and sliced in half lenghtwise
3 Tbl Olive oil
3 Tbl Soy Sauce
Thinly sliced fresh ginger
  • Combine oil, soy sauce and ginger in a shallow dish large enough to hold bok choy in a single layer
  • Place bok choy cut side down and gather up some of the marinade making sure to coat the leaves - turn and stir around to thoroughly coat the outer side as well
  • Turn again and leave cut-side down for about 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Heat a grill to medium high heat
  • Place bok choy, cut side down on grill and cook until nice grill marks appear
  • Turn and grill on reverse to desired doneness

Serves 2 as a side dish
