Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce

Contributed by: Melinda

Serves 4.

1 lb. uncooked shrimp
2 cups dry white wine
1 tbl Old Bay Seasoning or other seafood seasoning blend
1 recipe Seafood Cocktail Sauce
Boston Lettuce leaves
Celery sticks
  • Add wine and seasoning to a saucepan and bring to a low boil
  • Add shrimp and cook just until done (about 2-5 minutes depending on size)
  • Turn off heat and remove shrimp to a plate
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve
  • On a salad plate, place one or two lettuce leaves
  • Add about 1/2 cup of the cocktail sauce
  • Top with 1/4 of the cooked shrimp
  • Add two artfully arranged celery sticks and serve

I like to use Crinella Sauvignon Blanc when making this. It goes very well with any seafood.
