Favorite Barbeque Sauce
This is one of our favorite bbq sauces. Frank loves it on broccoli, so sometimes I fix it without the barbeque. A word of caution; this is spicy!
What you need
- Equal parts Worcestershire sauce and cider vinegar
- For every two cups liquid, add:
- 1 1/2 tbl agave syrup
- Lots (I use quite a lot) of freshly ground black pepper
- 2 or more garlic cloves, minced
- ground allspice to taste (I use about 3/4-1 tsp for 2 cups liquid)
How to make it
- Combine in a saucepan and bring to a simmer
- Simmer for about 20 minutes or until slightly reduced
This is a very thin sauce and is ideal for dipping
