Cheddar with Medjool Dates, Kumquats and Blood Oranges

A delicious after-dinner course for four.

What you need

  1. 12 oz. Aged white cheddar cheese, sliced
  2. 12 Medjool Dates
  3. 16 Kumquats
  4. 4 Blood Oranges
  5. Mint sprigs

How to make it

  1. Cut ends off oranges, and remove peel with a paring knife
  2. Slice into 1/4 inch thick slices (these can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day
  3. To serve on a platter or serving tray, place sliced cheese down the center of the platter, surround with the orange slices, place dates and kumquats around
  4. Garnish with mint sprigs
