Corn Bread

What you need

  1. 1/2 cup flour
  2. 1 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
  3. 3 tsp baking powder
  4. 3 eggs, beaten
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 1 tsp sugar
  8. 1/4 cup cream
  9. 1/3 cup melted butter

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 400º
  2. Butter an 8-1/2x11 inch baking pan.
  3. Sift the flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and baking powder into a large bowl and mix thoroughly
  4. Add the eggs and milk.
  5. Add cream and melted butter.
  6. Pour into a buttered pan and bake for 20 minutes or until done. Serve warm.
