Lemonade

Contributed by: Melinda

We have this amazing Meyer Lemon Tree and have fresh lemons all year round from the two crops it produces. Although we give many away, we still have to find ways to use them. This is an easy one.

2 cups fresh lemon juice
2 cups granulated sugar
6 cups water
Ice cubes
  • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves. Simmer for several minutes.
  • Add water to lemon juice and stir well.
  • Pour into a pitcher 2/3 filled with ice cubes.

Use freshly picked Meyer Lemons - Do not bother to use grocery store lemons!
