Ma'amoul

This is actually a middle eastern pastry, but they are the size and shape of a cookie. They are traditional on celebration days, but are so worth trying. They are not easy to make, but what a shame to have to practice such a delightful treat! :)

  1. 1 1/2 cups semolina flour
  2. 1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
  3. 1 cup clarified butter

  6. 1/4 cup milk
  7. 1 cup chopped walnuts, almonds or pistachios
  8. 1/2 cup fine sugar
  9. 1/4 tsp cinnamon
