Mustard Barbeque Sauce

This was originally from Cooks Illustrated, long, long ago. When we do barbeque with pork, I fix this sauce and all too often, people exclaim about how terrific it is as salad dressing or with potatoes or vegetables.

What you need

  1. 1 cup cider vinegar
  2. 6 tbl Dijon mustard
  3. 2 tbl honey (I usually use agave syrup)
  4. 4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  5. Several dashes red pepper sauce
  6. 1 cup oil (This is a modification)
  7. 2 tsp salt
  8. Ground black pepper

How to make it

  1. Whisk first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl
  2. Slowly whisk in oil
  3. Add salt and pepper

As with many sauces, this is better after several hours. A very mild sauce that is a nice option with barbeque, or as stated above, veg, salad and potatoes.
