Rice Pudding

What you need

  1. 1/2 cup rice
  2. 1 quart milk
  3. 1/2 cup sugar (white or brown)
  4. 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  7. 1 or 2 eggs (optional)

How to make it

  1. Wash rice and add milk, sugar, spice and salt.
  2. Pour into greased baking dish.
  3. Bake at 275 for 3 hours, stirring frequently during first hour
  4. Add 1/2 cup raisins or 2 eggs during last 1/2 hour.
  5. Serves 6.
