Grilled Shrimp Skewers

What you need

  1. 25 30-40 count fresh shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  2. Olive Oil
  3. Garlic, minced
  4. Fresh thyme or tarragon sprigs
  5. Salt and Pepper
  6. Warm Herbed Olive Oil or Clarified Butter
  7. French Bread

How to make it

  1. In a medium bowl, combine about 3 tablespoons olive oil, garlic, fresh herb, salt & pepper.
  2. Add peeled and cleaned shrimp and marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours
  3. Prepare grill to medium hot
  4. Over low heat, add thyme or tarragon to olive oil and heat
  5. Remove shrimp from marinade and skewer about 6 shrimp per skewer
  6. Place shrimp skewers on grill and cook about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side
  7. Remove from grill and remove shrimp from skewers
  8. Serve with other kabobs or as a first course with French Bread and Warm Herbed Oil
