Grilled Shrimp Skewers
What you need
- 25 30-40 count fresh shrimp, peeled and cleaned
- Olive Oil
- Garlic, minced
- Fresh thyme or tarragon sprigs
- Salt and Pepper
- Warm Herbed Olive Oil or Clarified Butter
- French Bread
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, combine about 3 tablespoons olive oil, garlic, fresh herb, salt & pepper.
- Add peeled and cleaned shrimp and marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours
- Prepare grill to medium hot
- Over low heat, add thyme or tarragon to olive oil and heat
- Remove shrimp from marinade and skewer about 6 shrimp per skewer
- Place shrimp skewers on grill and cook about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side
- Remove from grill and remove shrimp from skewers
- Serve with other kabobs or as a first course with French Bread and Warm Herbed Oil
