Simply Baked Mahi Mahi

Well, this was the first recipe I ever tried with Mahi Mahi that I like. The flavor of the fish is excellent and can be enhanced with garnishes that can be added in the quantity you like, such as hot peppers or sauces. You could easily use this recipe for halibut, tuna or swordfish too.

What you need

  1. Mahi Mahi fillets
  2. Olive Oil
  3. Coarse kosher salt & black pepper

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 450º
  2. Cut fish into serving size pieces (I make them about 3 x 3 inches)
  3. Add oil to the bottom of a baking dish
  4. Place fish pieces in a single layer in the bottom, turning to coat well with oil
  5. Sprinkle top with salt & pepper
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then begin checking every minute or two
  7. Remove when fish has reached desired doneness - Note: it will continue to cook another minute or so when removed from oven
