1 lb ground beef
1 onion
1 carton Frozen Johnson Chili block (frozen food section)
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
3 tbl Grandma's Chili powder (or more)
2 large cans kidney beans, drained
3 tsp salt
  • Brown hamburger with onion and black pepper
  • Addtomato sauce and 1/2 cup water
  • Add the Chili block, Chili powder, kidney beans and Salt
  • Cook covered for 20 to 30 min.ð Turn off heat.
  • Let set until dinner time or overnight,ð Then warm slowly until hot

    Delicious the second day
