2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup oatmeal
1 egg
1 tsp Tobasco sauce
1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
Salt and Pepper
1/2 - 3/4 cup hot milk
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
3/4 cup water
  • To eliminate the possibility of indigestion, pre-cook the onion in the microwave.
  • Combine the first 8 ingredients.
  • When thoroughly mixed, add the milk.
  • Shape into two loaves in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  • Combine tomato sauce and water and pour over the top of the loaves.
  • Bake another 15 - 20 minutes, basting a couple of times.

The milk makes the ground beef very tender.
