Meatloaf

What you need

  1. 2 lbs ground beef
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 1 cup oatmeal
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 tsp Tobasco sauce
  6. 1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
  7. Salt and Pepper
  8. 1/2 - 3/4 cup hot milk
  9. 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  10. 3/4 cup water

How to make it

  1. To eliminate the possibility of indigestion, pre-cook the onion in the microwave.
  2. Combine the first 8 ingredients.
  3. When thoroughly mixed, add the milk.
  4. Shape into two loaves in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  6. Combine tomato sauce and water and pour over the top of the loaves.
  7. Bake another 15 - 20 minutes, basting a couple of times.

The milk makes the ground beef very tender.
