Sautéed Cabbage & Pears

What you need

  1. 1 cabbage Shredded
  2. 6 Tablespoons butter
  3. 3 Pears
  4. 4 Shallots
  5. 1 small garlic clove, minced
  6. 1 cup chicken broth (use vegetable broth for Vegetarian)
  7. 2/3 cup dried sour Cherries
  8. 1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  9. 2 Tablespoons minced parsley
  10. Salt & Pepper to taste

How to make it

  1. In large dutch oven, melt butter over med. heat,
  2. Add pears and shallots,ð sauté until soft
  3. Add garlic
  4. Saute another 1 1/2 minutes, (don't brown)
  5. Add chicken broth, mix
  6. Add cabbage cook turning often until Cabbage is cooked the way you like it.
