Swiss Steak

What you need

  1. 2 - 2 1/2 lb. round, chuck, or sirloin steak
  2. flour for dusting meat
  3. 2 onions, chopped
  4. 1 clove garlic
  5. 2 cups water or beef broth
  6. 2 - 3 Tbl. Ketchup
  7. Salt and Black pepper
  8. 1 - 2 Tbl. Kitchen Bouquet

How to make it

  1. Cut round steak in serving pieces
  2. Brown steak with onion.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring just to the boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and place in a 300 degree oven for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
