Whole Grain Pizza Dough

Recipe for bread maker. Use a baking stone preheated in the oven at 450 to 500 degrees. Top pizza lightly. Place pizza on preheated stone with a pizza peel. This is excellent to use for the Ultimate Pesto Pizza.

What you need

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 tbl Olive Oil
  3. 1 tbl Agave syrup
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp dried onion powder
  6. 1 1/4 cup white flour
  7. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  8. 1/4 cup besan (chickpea flour)
  9. 2 Tbl ground flax meal
  10. 1 tsp Active Dry Yeast

How to make it

  1. Place all ingredients in breadmaker in recommended order and select dough setting.
  2. When dough is finished, remove from pan
  3. Divide dough into 2 or 4 pieces; roll or press into rounds
  4. Brush with olive oil, cover with a tea towel and let stand for about 15 minutes
  5. Top as desired and bake at 450-500 degrees for 10 minutes or in a pizza pan at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes, turning once or twice, until crust is golden brown and toppings are hot
