Dukkah Crusted Tilapia
A super simple tapa dish I like to make when having dinner guests is dukkah. There's usually some leftover, and this is an excellent use for it. A wonderful compliment to the fish.
Serves 2
What you need
- 2 Tilapia fillets
- Olive oil
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup dukkah
How to make it
- Bring tilapia to room temperature for about 15 minutes
- Spread dukkah onto a plate
- Rub both sides of filets with olive oil, then place one at a time into the dukkah and press - repeat for both sides of each filet
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat
- Cook filets for 2-4 minutes, turn and finish cooking on the reverse, covering if needed depending on thickness
>Roasted salsa and caramelized onions are great garnishes.
