Dukkah Crusted Tilapia

A super simple tapa dish I like to make when having dinner guests is dukkah. There's usually some leftover, and this is an excellent use for it. A wonderful compliment to the fish. Serves 2

What you need

  1. 2 Tilapia fillets
  2. Olive oil
  3. 1/2 - 3/4 cup dukkah

How to make it

  1. Bring tilapia to room temperature for about 15 minutes
  2. Spread dukkah onto a plate
  3. Rub both sides of filets with olive oil, then place one at a time into the dukkah and press - repeat for both sides of each filet
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat
  5. Cook filets for 2-4 minutes, turn and finish cooking on the reverse, covering if needed depending on thickness

>Roasted salsa and caramelized onions are great garnishes.
